What you can do
Draft
Line, polyline, rectangle, circle, arc, ellipse, polygon, spline, construction lines and text, with object snaps, ortho, polar tracking, grid and typed distances.
Edit
Move, copy, rotate, scale, mirror, offset, trim, extend, fillet, chamfer, stretch, break, join, explode, array, match properties and align — with grips and undo/redo.
Annotate
Hatch by clicking inside a region, linear, aligned, radius, diameter and angular dimensions, leaders, text and dimension styles, blocks with a starter library of doors, windows and furniture.
Deliver
Layers with colours, linetypes and lineweights. Export DXF, or print a PDF at A4–A0 and a chosen scale with a title block.
Works with the rest of MNKI
- CadTrace and MNKICADdesign: open their DXF results directly in EasyCAD to edit them.
- 3D Sandbox: send the plan drawings you export from the Sandbox into EasyCAD.
- Studio and AChAt: send a picture of your drawing as the input for a render or a chat.

Frequently asked questions
Is MNKI EasyCAD really free?
Yes. MNKI EasyCAD is included free on every MNKI plan, including the Free plan. It uses no credits, and an organization admin can switch it off for an enterprise organization's members.
What file format does it use?
DXF. You can open a DXF file, edit it, and save a DXF back (R2000 format by default). DWG files are not supported — export a DXF from your CAD application first. Content EasyCAD cannot edit, such as some hatch types or images, is kept and saved untouched.
Where are my drawings stored?
In your own browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to send a picture of the drawing to MNKI Studio or AChAt. Because drawings live in the browser, export a DXF to keep a copy elsewhere.
Is it 3D?
No. MNKI EasyCAD is a 2D drafting tool. MNKI has a separate 3D Sandbox for building in 3D, which can send its plan drawings to EasyCAD.
Can I print to scale?
Yes. Choose a paper size from A4 to A0, an orientation and a plot scale (or fit to the sheet), add a title block, and export a vector PDF at true scale with lineweights and linetypes.
Does it work on a tablet?
Yes. You can draw with a finger or pen, and on-screen keys (Enter, Esc, undo, snap toggles) mean you do not need a keyboard.
